Science Bubble Tea / Geopolitics in Asia : A Masterclass by Prof. Jean-Pierre Cabestan and Prof. Wu Yu-Shan. [zh_tw]
The « Science Bubble Tea » is the flagship Franco-Taiwanese science event organised by the French Office in Taipei, where we gather the best French and Taiwanese scientific experts to debate science, technology and societal challenges.
This time, Prof. Jean-Pierre Cabestan and Prof. Wu Yu-Shan will discuss geopolitics in Asia and Taiwan’s place in the region. The experts will give their insights on the growing geopolitical, economic and ideological challenges in Asia, and debate on how much Taiwan can navigate through this environment and continue to consolidate its democracy.
The discussion won’t limit itseft to Taiwan ; it will also discuss the economic and political future of China as well as the impact of the coming US election on the whole Indo-Pacific region.
